Just wanna throw this out, But does ESPN offer an overtime player. I'm sure everyone is familiar with how this works. If your not here goes You pick one of you bench players to serve as your OT Player, in the event you tie your opponent it then refers to the OTP, the OTP that scores the most points wins. If the OTP tie than o well you tie. The OTP does not come in to play in any other result. We use this in my Fanball League, and my owners love it. Since we have a large bench it shouldn't be a problem...
Either way no Big.. just throwing it out.... ;D

I've never played in a league like that. With fractional scoring... I don't see ties happening so I'm not sure it's needed.

I run a league with fractional scoring. We have used the fractional scoring for 3 years now and we have had 3 ties. I really don't care if we use it or not.....

The best tiebreaker system is either total of bench points, or total of 5 best players on each bench. In any case, we need a tiebreaker system because ties in a 13 game season is completely retarded.

ESPN allows for the following tie-breakers -
Home Team wins Most points from bench Most points from QB Most points from RB Most points from WR
If the league wants something different than "leave as a tie" then vote and I'll change it.

I like bench points as the tie breaker.
I'm still in disbelief that anyone has seen more than one tie with fractional scoring. We've used this method for years, granted with hundredth points ( 100.17 ) but we've never had it happen where two teams were tied.

Home team wins is gay. Benches won't be the same because of bye weeks. I say if it ends in a tie its a tie

Yeah I agree that if it ends in a tie, then it should be a tie. It might happen once all season and I doubt that it will affect the playoff race.

A tie is really fuckin gay! Bench points as tiebreaker. If commissioner can change results of game, then we should use best total score from 5 best benchers as a tiebreaker. That would remove the bye week factor. If commissioner cannot change result of game from a tie to W/L, than total bench points should be used.

If a game with decimal scoring ends in a tie then it's a tie . . . both teams earned exactly that with their coaching decisions . . . no matter how gay that is.

Even if it's so flamingly gay that it's beyond ridiculously flaming gay?? I mean there's gay and then there's retardedly flaming gay. Flaming in a bad way gay... you know what I'm sayin???

I'll put the over/under on ties with two decimal scoring at 1 for the year . . . if there is more than one tie in the regular season this year (assuming two decimal scoring and not one . . . I am not sure how ESPN does it) we'll set-up a tiebreaker system for 2009 and I will play that entire year as the Texas Flaming Gay Flamingos. Bet.
