I'd rather bring it up now before the season starts.
In the worst case scenario that there is no season at all for the rookie draft next year would we use the same draft order, randomize it, use a lottery for non playoff teams?
I am assuming we will have football once the owners and players get the head out of their ass but I wouldn't mind having a plan in place either.
And yes I know its May.

I think Gregg should automatically get the 1.12 pick as a penalty for having that much spare time to even think about that question... nevermind typing it out. =P

LMAO I knew I'd get flack for bringing it up but I guess I'd rather have it figured out, and I'd hate for their to be no NFL season I have a feeling a deal is going to get done close to Sept.

We would have to go by the latest standings available. Which would be last year's finish. Same order.

I don't know if I like that Brad. The teams with the bad record have already been rewarded with high picks in this years draft. I have a couple of ideas on how to do it.
1. Just a random draft order. We could use a site that randomizes and go with what they put.
2. We could take the regular season records from the past 3 years and determine the draft order that way. I actually think this would be the most fair way. I believe this is what the NHL did after their strike a couple of years ago.
I don't think we are going to have to worry about this anyway. It sounds like they are going to work something out in the next couple of weeks.

Sorry everybody I have updated the ESPN site so you can set the date for FA.
Been a little distracted with my Dad passing away last week. At least he is in a better place now. The funeral was harder on me than expected.
Back to work and should be on the site more often.
