Dropping RB Brandon Saine GB and adding new rookie WR Josh Gordon CLE.
After the Browns used a 2nd round pick in the supplemental draft, I am surprised he is still available here. I just saw the news on him last night.

I thought we were not allowed to pick anyone up until LM authorized, which is obviously why I didn't bother picking up.....

It's the middle of July and a week after the sup draft. What the fuck are we suppossed to wait around for? There are no official rules in place and no mention of any process in place by LM. I saw the unofficial thread from the T Pryor thing last year with silent bids (just found it in the general board, not the rules or proposed changes threads), but there was no mention of making it a rule. According to our rules, if he is available on our ESPN site and it is after the draft, he is a free for all. Little help here LM.

This move is denied.
We will be doing the same thing we did last year with Pryor. Myself or Brad will be sending out a PM/email when we open this up. We will not be doing any adding or dropping until ESPN lets us add the rookie class, which will hopefully be soon.

I thought we had posted previously that there would be no FA pickups allowed until after ESPN unlocked the offline daft tools and allowed us to actually pick guys up. I cannot find that post now, but it will be in effect since you cannot officially add any players on the ESPN site. Thus, this move is denied, sorry James.
Though it is not in the rules, we did set a precedent last year with a player that went in the supplemental draft and did blind bidding on Terrell Pryor, which I believe Gregg ended up winning. We will do the same this year.
I am going to move the rest of this discussion to the "Rules Proposals" thread because I am going to propose a system for handling these issues to become a rule once discussed and approved. I also think that the FA signing rule needs to clarified to account for this period we have every year when ESPN is basically locked down for us.
