2012 has been by far the worst FF year for me across all my leagues since I started playing in 2001. In my keeper league, I am 1-7 and building keeper options for next season. Before last weekend, I sold Stafford for CJ Spiller (7th round keeper for 2 more years) in a package deal. I already have J Graham as a 7th round keeper for 1 more year. Other potential options on my current roster include A Dalton (15th round/2 years), J Dwyer as the potential PIT starter next year (19th round/2 years), M Austin (6th round/2 years), and a few long shots (Hillman, Gordon, R Williams).
My question is who I should sell Chris Johnson (unkeepable) for. I already had offers of Luck (10th round/2 years) in a package deal and D Murray (16th round/1 year) straight up. I really like both options, and definitely like the idea of having 2 stud RBs in rounds 7 and 16 for next season. I think Luck is a better option as far as his future growth, but workhorse RBs are so very rare. I feel like not only is Dalton a solid option, but I should be able to draft a great QB somewhere in rounds 3-5 next year if I don't keep Dalton.
I'm torn. Thoughts gentlemen? Gotta sell Johnson before he plays the Bears.

James,
I agree with your assessment that stud RB's are more important than stud QB's..If it were dynasty I'd argue that Luck has a chance to be one of the best ever (and my vote would change to Luck), but you can only keep Luck for 2 years, it may take 2-3 before Luck really starts to rise above the pack of similar QB's (specifically one you could grab in rounds 3-5 over the next two years) for that reason, my vote is Murray!
Yes Murray is an injury risk, but you get him in round 16, that alone could throw you over the top next year if your early picks pan out...
Good Luck!

I have to agree with Bill here, I believe locking up two top end RB's will go further for your team potentially, and allow you to pick a QB a little bit earlier than normal in next yrs draft by locking up the RB's.
Id go with Murray as well, especially as a 16th rd keeper.
