Boss is a terrible pick in the 8th round. The addition of the rookie pass catching TE Travis Beckum pretty much relegates Boss back into a more primary blocker mode. He will still get catches and TDs, but it is safe to say those numbers, as meager as they were to begin w/, will drop.

Really, Beckum isn't gonna do nothing. I say Boss still catches 50 balls for around 550 yards and 6 scores.... Who else is Eli gonna throw to.......Beckum......Ha.... Your reading to much into a Rookie........I'll bet you your boy Beckum gets hurt before the 4 game this season.

I could use another wide receiver but with a ton of blah players on the board, I'll go Ben Roethlisberger and hope that Pittsburgh will throw the ball a bit more.

Your reading to much into a Rookie........I'll bet you your boy Beckum gets hurt before the 4 game this season. Not only Beckum, but also Nicks and Barden will take a few catches away here and there. Granted rookie receivers (WRs and TEs) have a big learning curve in the NFL and tend to struggle a bit as rookies, but w/ the talent of those 3, I would certainly be worried about Boss's catch total going down a bit. If I'm not mistaken (I haven't looked into the stats for this), I believe Boss's targets went up enough to make him a regular FF starter only after Plax was out of the picture. On second thought, however, Boss will still be a big end zone target, so maybe his TDs will keep him in a couple of starting lineups throughout the year.

When my pick comes up, I'm pre-drafting:
1 - Jeremy Shockey 2 - Zach Miller
One of those guys will do.
My starting roster in the non-ppr league then becomes:
QB - McNabb RB - LT RB - Lynch WR - Colston WR - Royal WR - Coles TE - Shockey or Zach Miller Flex - Chester Taylor
Again, not thrilled. But not horrible. Especially if LT bounces back.

W/ my final pick, I will select the 14th and final starting QB for this "league" Matt Schaub. Absolutely unbelievable that he lasted this long. When I made my last pick of Leon Washington, I considered drafting a QB then, but since there were only 3 other teams in need of a starting QB, I figured I would press my luck and wait another round. Schaub was my highest ranked QB available at that time, and my patience paid off. Unfortunately, as studly as Schaub can be, he has proven to be injury prone, which is certainly why he fell this far. I would probably turn around and draft another QB w/in the next couple rounds, so I can have a strong backup.
My team non-PPR:
QB Matt Schaub HOU RB Chris Johnson TEN RB Darren McFadden OAK RB Cedric Benson CIN RB Leon Washington NYJ WR Calvin Johnson DET WR Wes Welker NE TE Tony Gonzalez ATL
A nice young corp of RBs w/ a ton of upside. This should make me a contender in a 14 team league.
