So, I know we've got some opinions out there. Who's having the best draft so far? I was gonna post this question on the diehards site, but I don't want anyone making "suggestions" yet.
I'll let you guys start.

Awfully hard to evaluate, some have had only one pick, while others MANY picks. I've always laughed at people when they announce that the guy (In Fantasy), or team (in NFL) who has done best is the one with the most # of picks.....

Without a doubt: Vote goes to the Renegades. He traded out of 1.04 to gain 1.09 and 1.11. There were other parts and pieces, but this was the meat and potatoes of the deal. Then, the team that finished runner-up last year was able to gain AP, two receivers in DHB and Mossaqui (sp) with potential and gain high 1st and high 2nd round picks in next year's draft while giving up only his 1st and 2nd which should be low picks. What I'm saying is he fucking scored in this year's draft while seriously upgrading himself in next year's draft at the same time. Basically, what I'm also saying is that he should be banned from trading with the Bulls and Generals. Yeah...I'm fucking jealous Chris. I don't know what "smote" means but I'm inclinded to agree with Undertow, you "smoted" those two. Great draft for you!! I also think that Hellfire and Dragons have improved themselves nicely and quitely in this draft and deserve honorable mention. I will vote on myself for having a very uneventfull draft based on where I finished last year (dead fucking last). I only got three prospects after finishing last in the league. Could've had Moreno and the picks I've had, but I had to have Schaub. Lesson learned, don't think your a bad-ass.

Smote is past tense for smite under the silly karma points that come w/ our avatar. I knocked him down to -1, and it still didn't make me feel better about the ridiculous trades he was allowed to pull off. Must be some kinda cyber hypnotic trick he knows.

If we are talking about only during the draft then you have to go with the Renegades . . . they have done all of their moves within the draft to improve . . . if you go from Championship to now I am gonna vote for the Hellfire:
A tema that just missed the playoffs (and under the current tiebreaker system would have made it) has given up the following players from his roster since the end of last season: JP Losman, Randle El, Kevin Jones, Earl Bennett, Trent Green, Houston and SF Defenses, Bobby Wade, Drew Stanton, and Phil Dawson . . .
and has added the following players: Brian Westbrook, Donovan McNabb, TJ Housh, Malcolm Kelly, The Denver running game (Knowshon, Corell and LaMont), LeSean McCoy, Jared Cook and SD Defense.
This is part of the reason that I say our division is going to be stupid tough this year. Undertow was the regular season champ without a doubt . . . Renegades are greatly improved as are the Hellfire . . . the other three are no slouches either.

Will we ever be able to use the Denny Green speech on the Renegades?
"If you want to crown their asses, then crown their asses! But they were who we thought they were!!"
LOL

As for the draft.. there's no question. Chris wins hands down.
Having said that, I suppose you have to give credit where credit is due. He drafted a good team and put himself in that position by acquiring those picks. Same goes for mestifo.
On the flip side, I think Gregg did a good job with his first few picks. I still hate the big trade because of how it benefited Chris, but Gregg still managed to draft:
Crabtree - The #1 WR prospect, even if he ended up on a rotten team to maximize his skills. Robiskie - Arguably, a top 3 WR prospect in my mind ( top 5 in most ) who landed in a place where he could start this year. D Brown - Some have him ranked in the top 3 range for RBs. And he landed in a good spot, it's all up to him now. Stafford - Arguably the #1 QB prospect Pat White - An intriguing pick/prospect. It will be interesting to see what his value is with our starting roster/scoring format. Rashad Jennings - The big guy to back up MJD behind that new and improved OLine.
Granted, Gregg had a ton of holes to fill since he screwed the pooch with his team. But I think he made the most of his picks.
Mestifo - Shame on you for adding two of the best RB prospects in this draft. Shame shame!
And lastly, I'll apologize to the league for putting you guys through hell with our trade negotiations. I think I was able to help my team though, and that was my main concern. Can you guys tell that I don't enjoy trading? LOL
While my picks weren't flashy, none of them were at the end of round 2. And hopefully the hype on Miles Austin isn't just smoke and mirrors. At 2.08, I'll take my chances on him instead of a rookie. And at 2.12 and 3.03, I kept looking at other options but I just kept coming back to Austin Collie and Shawn Nelson as decent value and maybe more than decent opportunity.
And Wiz... I felt confident passing on Chase Coffman. I'm glad it worked out for you. Many people have concerns with him too don't forget. Spread offense. Frequent foot injuries. And the fact that Cincy is a WR offense. You'll see what I mean. { clears throat } Simpson { clears throat } LOL

And the fact that Cincy is a WR offense. You'll see what I mean. { clears throat } Simpson { clears throat } LOL Again, PPR. Coffman is not flashy or fast like Cook and Nelson, but gets open easily on shorter routes, has great hands, and surprisingly great agility for a big guy. As far as Cinncy being this system that ignores their TE, please someone tell me the last time they actually had a quality pass-receiving TE (and don't even try to say Utecht)? Certainly not since Palmer has been under center. And Palmer has utilized the crap out of his WRs because since he has QBed the Bengals, he has had Ochocinco as a stud, Housh as one of the best possession WRs in the league, Henry before all the trouble, and a great Rudi behind him. Guess what? No more Housh (an old Coles is a downgrade), Ochocinco seems lost and past his prime, and Henry doesn't seem to care as much anymore. Benson may be solid, but he won't be as good as Rudi was. Sure, Simpson and Caldwell may develop nicely, but I highly doubt they will be as sweet as 85 and Housh were together. All 4 of the top drafted TEs should find good success in the NFL. As far as rating the draft, I really haven't broken down anyone else's draft, so I will just talk about mine. First off, I kept the core of my highest scoring team together, lost no picks and gained 3 more, drafted 3 WRs out of the ridiculous glut of WR talent available, got a piece of the large amount of really good receiving TEs available, and picked a solid RB prospect, who also happens to be Gore's future handcuff for at least a few years. I end up w/ the 3rd best WR in the draft (more opportunity-wise, not necessarily talent-wise), another WR in the top tier of talent, and a 3rd WR who looks like he could be the next Eddie Royal. I also get a very quality receiving TE, who should be a pro-bowler multiple times. I still have a few picks up my sleeve and about 7-8 players I really want. I would have to say that I may not have had the best draft, being that my first pick was after 9 players had been taken, but I certainly am in the top half of the league w/ the quality of my picks.

Well, the draft is coming to an end.
As I look at my team, all I can say is: My god I've got too many young players!
Both of my starting QBs are under 30 and are supposed to be peaking right now. Palmer's arm is a question mark, but he says he's 100%. Hopefully he is.
Both of my starting RBs are under the age of 24. Hopefully Lynch has his head on straight now. If he ever decides to pack a gun again, hopefully he fires a shot at Al Davis so that Oakland doesn't totally ruin DMC's talents by making terrible decisions.
I've got 9 WRs under the age of 25. If Matt Jones is still considered an NFL player, he would give me 10 WRs aged 26 or less. All I need is for 2-4 of these guys to become starting talent behind Marshall.
All of my TE's are under the age of 30. And Shockey is in a contract year. And hopefully Gates gives me some of that WR1/WR2 value that he's capable of.
I won't be a threat to win the title this year. But hopefully in the next year or two I'll be in the playoffs if I can get lucky with some of these WRs.
Chris, I'm watchin you boy! ;D
