i hope brian kelly doesn't leave, it be ncie to see ohio state have a good in state competitor , and it be nice to see the big east stay strong besides lets be honest brian kelly has a better chance at winning national titles at cincy then notre dame does, which sucks to say since i am a wvu fan, thats another rant all in it self

lets look at it right now. when was the last time ND won a big bowl game.
Now look you can say, and pound your chest all you want but even dynasty's dwindle to nothing.
Lou Holtz left a long time ago, the man who gave a speech is nowhere to be found, and all you got is a qb with a "golden arm" year after year, but yet no championships what gives?
Look at it from Rich Rod's view i got why he left never complained with people wanting better jobs we all do it. However here Rod had the ability to make a name for himself, the only reason why some people know Bowden coached here is cause they watched we are marshall. He left a school he had a game away from a National Title Game. For a school that was on a downgrade and had not one type of player he needed on offense or defense. He has a chance to be fired this year before he can even get his team full of his players.
I think you'll see less coaches leave and build with what they have, ND is no longer the only game on TV

its fine, i know the argument i am going to get, the big east is weak. Notre Dame plays such a superior schedule the ranks, blah blah blah. But really if kelly goes to ND he will be fired in 3 years.

Michigan needs to give rod 2 more years and deal with it. He went from NFL football to trying to build a spread offense if Michigan gives him time he will be everything they wanted.

Actually he came from West Virginia. Rich Rod's spread offense is working pretty good with the young talent on that side of the ball, but he and his coaching staff completely forgot about the defense. The spread offense doesn't solve god-awful defensive schemes. |
