There will be a new section on the boards as my office is deciding to start a little 8-team PPR redraft league for fun and we can't decide on a place to hold to hold the live draft . . . we are going to do it via message board because we all travel so much. I tried to get them to play for a little bit of money, but they all think I am a "professional" at this, so they refused, but it should be fun anyways. We are going to use our drafting rules/timer, but hopefully it will go faster than that.
This league will be PPR, 1/10, 1/20, 4 pass, 6 rush/rec and -1 TO. Pretty simple . . . QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, Def, 6 bench. The guys may come to the general boards with some questions as some of them are new to fantasy football . . . feel free to help them beat me if you like. There will be a discussion thread for this draft just like all of our drafts so feel free to weigh in however you would like, ut please follow the rules that we have during our own draft . . . no mentioning of undrafted players in the draft threads.
That's all I've got . . . I think this will be a fun addition to our boards here for a bit . . . it has gotten so monotonous with all the baddies around here trying to convince us they are really good by posting their other teams. Be who you are and own it!!! The folks in the GEDL would think I royally sucked as an owner, much less a fantasy football player if that was their only experience with me. I don't even have fancy banner for my team FFS!!

No worries Brad...like I said before, you and Chris probably think I'm a complete dipshit based on KJNL and USFL teams and their respective performances....thank God for the GEDL where I've got a very strong team....guess I need 52 roster spots to make that happen...LOL. Whats the chances people from here would like to do a money redraft league it be fun to have something to spice this league up more trash talk, and could put an end to Neil and Derek promising their better then what there teams here are like.

I would do a money re draft league. It doesn't have to be major $$$,like $20 or $25.

Whats the chances people from here would like to do a money redraft league it be fun to have something to spice this league up more trash talk, and could put an end to Neil and Derek promising their better then what there teams here are like. I'm down. If someone doesn't pay up at the end of the season, we can kick them out of the USFL.  I also agree with making it a smaller-money league. If all 12 members from this league joined in a money redraft, it would be ridiculously competitive, and I only join big money leagues if I think I have an edge. |
