If there is a lockout next year that starts after the draft. What will we do when the second draft comes around and we have no new standings.
Will we hold 2 drafts or just lump them into one larger rookie draft
I think it might be a good idea to discuss these things after the championship, in a larger way before we are allowed to start trading 2012 rookie draft picks

Pretty much just cross that bridge when we get to it. If there is a holdout for the entire 2011 season, we could randomize the draft for the 2012 season. We could group the league into either two groups of 6 teams, or three groups of 4 teams according to the last standings (top teams in one group, bottom teams in another group) and randomize the draft order within each group. That way the better teams will still get a later pick, and the bad team will still get an earlier pick, and it's more fair.

I'm no expert, but I don't think that the NFL will have two different drafts if there is a holdout....they would be faced with the same scenario described herein....I wouldn't worry too much, and I'd imagine we'll follow their lead.
