I am proud of what we have built here. We have some teams in their rebuilding modes and some teams in their peaking modes, but all of the owners are active at least and most of you can be categorized as HIGHLY active. There are always dicussions going on around the boards and not all of it necessarily has to do with football. Additionally, our league is very competitive. Despite any single teams faults or strengths the below is the truth.
No USFL team lost less than 3 games or won less than 3 games. That tells me that everyone has a chance every week.
We play a 13 game regular season so I will categorize both 7-6 and 6-7 as .500 teams. We have 4 above .500 teams, 4 .500 teams and 4 below .500 teams.
The league average in points was 1775.7 . . . 4 teams are more than 100 points above that, 4 teams are more than 100 points below that and 4 teams are within 100 of the league average. Only one team exceeds or falls short of the average by more than 300 . . . the league leader is 303.5 points above average.
These items tell me that we built a competitive, fun league that was also evenly distributed among the teams. Nearly everyone still had something to play for in the last week of the regular season and many teams, once making the playoffs, felt like they had an honest shot at winning it all.
THAT is how fantasy football is supposed to be and I am proud to play in the USFL where I think we do things the right way. Thanks to you all for being the biggest part of it and I hope that everyone can continue to do so for a long time going forward.
