I have done things this way a few times before, I think you will be surprised how easy it actually is once you get into it. Learn the "find" function on your particular browser well . . . I will keep a big draft board with all the picks on it and the find function will be nice to know . . . it also helps to go out and find some positional rankings and print them out and cross them off as you go along . . . it's a little bit more work for everyone . . . but much more realistic IMO.
I am really focusing on the fact that someone could miss their time and be forced to take a player they don't want. That's my #1 priority.

I agree. If the draft can start and end in one day, then that should be the preferred way. It's always hard to pick one day where 10-12 people can commit to being there though, but usually it can happen.
I just think doing the 4-8 hour time limit on a message board for 30 man rosters is asking for trouble.
Edit: I just realized that the draft is starting now. This should be fine since there is plenty of time before September hits.

I'm fine drafting here.
I have already been organizing my depth charts (they are still a mess) and planned to print them and cross off players as we go, like a regular live draft. That will be the easiest way to handle drafting w/o a computerized list.
Another thing we could do to alleviate a little work off of Mestifo is to enter our players onto our roster lists as we pick them.

How can we do that? I think only the commish can.

your personal roster lists are just like any other post you make . . . totally editable by you . . . that's why I wanted to make sure that YOU started both your official team roster and your transaction log . . . that way YOU can edit them . . . just use the "modify" button at the top right of any post you made to edit it. League management is not responsible for updating your rosters and transactions . . . I will keep a master list and making sure that your roster and transaction log are accurate on the message boards are your responsibility
