I would love to hear your guys opinion on who I should take with the third pick in my big money league draft. It is a ppr league and td's for everyone count as 6 points. We start a basic 1-qb 2-rbs 3-wrs 1-te 1-k. I will tell you who I am thinking of taking after I hear some of your guys thoughts. Any input with be appreciated.

Chris,
IMO it is a wait and see with 1.01 and 1.02, smart $ has them taking Foster and AP, if not you should take whichever is there....
If they do, probable, you are facing s choice of CJ or j. Charles, with CJ threatening to sit out the season ( and the fact that Ten sucks) I'd be thinking J. Charles if I was in your position!

Whats CJ miss one week? There is no way the Titans let it go longer then that. I'd take CJ.

based on this year alone....I would go with Charles, I believe he has the easiest schedule against the run. Regardless of which back you go with JC, CJ, and Rice, ...go with a running back that catches the ball.

I am leaning towards Rice or Charles as of now. I really think Rice is going to be big this year.

I'd go Charles. He had a huge year last year and their offense is improving. R. Williams may vulture some TD's from Rice and their passing Offense should improve compared to last year.
CJ also concerns me for the reasons stated.
I bet you'll end up with Foster though....many times people seem to pass him up. My prediction is that somebody will take Vick or A. Rodgers with one of the first two picks and you'll get Foster.

I would be THRILLED to get Foster again. I got him last year in round 6 in this league. I can't go into the draft thinking I will be Foster or AP,cause odds are I won't. I know a lot of people are high on Charles,I'm just nervous even thinking about drafting him. I have also been offered a deal to move down to 10th in my 12 team league, that would give me the third pick in rounds 2,3 and 4,while he would draft 10th each round of those rounds.

So that trade is that you get 1.10, 2.03 and 4.03 for 1.03 and 2.10?
Thus you draft at 1.10, 2.03, 3.03, 4.03 and 4.10 instead of 1.03, 2.10, 3.03, 4.10
I think that is a good deal for you because it means that you have picked up a pick in the top 48 and it would allow me (in my strategies) to pick up an elite QB in the 1st 4 rounds (one of the big 6) and not be hurting at either RB or WR because I could still draft two of them each in the top 50. Otherwise, I would be going RB, RB, WR, WR and waiting on QB . . . this deal allows you to bypass that . . . although you may not draft the same way that I do. It being a PPR league, the onus to get a STUD RB is reduced and I think this will work out well for you.

If you have to give up 4.10 to get this deal, the whole situation changes and I would pass. I would not give up a 3rd pick unless it was in round 8 or later . . . meaning you upgrade your QB pick :-)

I would not have 4.10. We can only have one pick per round. I would the have 5.03 then and 6.10 and so on the rest of the way.

I now know that Vick is going to go #1 overall. So it looks like I can pick between Foster or AP...but I am not high on AP.

AP is very consistent and McNabb will be better than their QB's from last year.

If Foster is availbale at 3,I will take him. I'm sure I will get killed for this but....I may gamble and take Rice over AP.

I would take Rice over AP and Foster in a PPR league. For this reason . . . Vonta Leach.
