Never Ever Ever let Yahoo auto draft for you!!! I did it for my fun work league. I have Vick and Fitzpatrick as my QBs and Fitz, Wayne and Stevie Johnson, Britt and Rice as my WRs.
BUT my RBs are Felix Jones, Jahvid Best and Micheal Bush. That's it!! 3???
I need to find a diamond in the ruff RB!!
Yahoo drafted my Def and Kicker in the 8th and 9th rounds!!! Really?!? Don't these bozos know you don't pick these positions until the end. Awful!!!

I hate autodrafts because in order for them to draft correctly you have to spend more time on them than on live drafts because you have to tier out EVERYONE!! Otherwise you wind up with teams like this. I would package Rice and Vick in a trade to a team hurting at QB for a downgrade at QB and a decent RB . . . I think you could get by like that. Vick's value will be at its highest right now. His season is not going to be pretty.

I have never even considered autodrafting. I don't want the computer drafting in a straight line, while drafts always have unpredictable picks and position runs.

I was supposed to be around the first night of the draft then the hurricane hit. And since most of us were going to be at work doing the coverage we moved it to saturday night. Then a few of us had to work so we pushed it to Sunday night. The only problem was a night with the wife and kids at a minor league baseball game was postponed due to rain and my wife bought tickets for that Sunday. It's a 10 team league and most of the people are fantasy football mental midgets so I should be able to pull off a trade and get a good RB somewhere. It drives me nuts to look at the draft order and see that the computer drafted Fitz for me in the second when MJD, Turner, Hillis and others were still available.   |
