I have been in contact with Mike. He is having second thoughts about joining because he is going to school in the fall, and he fears overextending himself since he is in other leagues. I told him to take a few days to consider it, reminding him that he doesn't have to have sleepless nights over team decisions like he tends to in at least my money league.
The next person on the waiting list should be contacted to pay attention in case Mike opts out. I'll give him until Sunday to either post his decision or give me his decision so there will still be plenty of time for a new owner to prepare for the draft.
Oh yeah, and fuck LeShoure's dumb ass....not literally. He was seriously eating the rest of his bag right in front of the cops. Moron!!! I have had to listen to my sports talk radio hosts rip on both Fairley and LeShoure for a couple of days now. Good thing you can be an idiot, have a criminal record, and still succeed in the NFL.

I think that maybe he should just wait till he has time to be 100% committed to the league and let someone else who has the time to take over a team that needs a lot of work.

Unfortunately, Mike Irvin has opted out. He told me he is already occupied a fantasy baseball league, on top of his football leagues, and going back to school this fall will absorb a lot of his time. He thought he would not be able to be nearly as involved in this league as we expect from our members, so he bowed out. Contact the next person on the list to take over.

I'm trying to talk Mudslingers into taking this team over, Mud is one of the best talent assessors I've seen, I sent him a link to the site, we shall see? A lot of us play with Mud in several other leagues...

Not sure how recently the wait list has been updated? I see Opie is on the wait list, I had to throw him out of a league (GEDL) last year due nto lack of participation.....That was exactly the reason for asking Mud, I KNOW he is as active as I am, and he is a very good manager on top of that, I know Outlaws, Pimp and Viking Rob are already playing with him in other leagues and can vouch for him.
He has already reviewed the site and is still willing to throw his hat in the ring, I say he should be our new owner?
Thoughts fellas?

Opie isn't next on the list but he is next after that . . . I did not realize he was one that you booted from GEDL (though I sometimes have my own issues keeping up with that league) . . . with that on his record I do not mind him being skipped. But first we need to check in with Bryan (romizzle) who is Laz's (Swagger Co-owner) friend and see if he wants a spot, since he followed all the rules for application back in late 2009 and is technically next on the waiting list. I plan on this league being around for a long time and not necessarily with me always as commish . . . we need to stick to the rules we have written as closely as we can.
Bill . . . have Mud post a quick blurb so he is officially next up . . . if it is 2 years before we have another opening then he at least has right of first refusal. It doesn't to be anything huge, just hey, I know you guys, put me on the list.
