Apologies for the trade post I put up today.
If you read the pm's that we sent each other... it was worded more like a feeler offer instead of something official. So that's why I edited the post.
I just happened to be home this morning and wanted to move things along after I told him I would do the trade.
I'm just not used to trading without an " I Accept " button I guess.

It's no big deal really . . . I will usually send a PM to make sure that a team still approves the trade if there is an "I accept" post with an editing date on the original trade post that is after the acceptance post is made. I just never saw someone accept an offer before it was posted before . . . in hindsight . . . I probably should have gotten some sort of confirmation from you before approving the deal . . . that will be the policy in the future

But when I posted the trade, I felt like I had just committed him to the deal without said confirmation. It all worked out. I think everyone's happy.

for the record . . . no one is ever on the hook for a deal unless they post a deal in the Trade Forum or they make a post in a trade thread with that little phrase "I accept" . . . when those two criterion are met (or multiple "I accepts" for multi-team deals) then either Chris or I go through the motion of making sure that both teams actually own the pieces they are trading away and that there is no hint of collusion . . . only then is a trade official.
