The following bids were taken in for Josh Gordon who was taken in the NFL Supplemental Draft:

Mudslingers 2nd round - 2.01
Outlaws 2nd round - 2.02
Force 2nd round - 2.12
Seal Fuckers 3rd round - 3.03
Undertow 3rd round - 3.05

Gordon is awarded to Mudslingers for their high bid and they lose their 2nd round pick in 2013. Roster moves must be completed by the weekend to add Gordon. Teams/owners have 24 hours to protest this result . . . the only reasonable protest is that your bid was submitted, higher than the winning bid and was not counted. Wow! That's a reach for a team with a high likelyhood of owning a top 4 pick next season. I strongly considered offering a 2nd round pick (wouldn't have mattered anyway) because I think I should be a playoff team and be in the bottom 6 of picks. However, since I am relying on a few of my players to overachieve for my playoff status, I didn't feel it was necessary to risk losing a top 6 pick of the 2nd round for a player with massive character issues, a year removed, and an average at best QB situation, high potential or not.

Hope he works out for you, Mud. If he can stop smoking pot, he should do fine.

Not to bad to get a number 1 receiver for a rookie 2nd rd pick. And I don't plan on not making the playoffs, I will be in the race.

Gordon is worth a 2nd rd pick (generally late 2nd) this year, using a 2nd on him next yr is worth it IMO.

I would have gladly used my 2nd nxt yr, but we already have 2 Browns WR's and 3 Browns TE's

I figured there would be a few 2nd round bids on him, and with mine being towards the end of each round... I just said screw it. I'm not giving up a 1st rounder to get him. Good luck Mudslingers!
