why would Minnesota make this deal? the only WR they have that can help there young QB they trade away? yes they get a first round pick for him,but they WR they get will not be as good as Harvin. If I was a Minny fan I would be pissed! But since I am a Bears fan,I'm glad to see Harvin out of the division!

I love Harvin, but at the same time He was not happy here and wanted out and a huge contract on top of that (Calvin/Fitz money?). I could have seen a scenario where he sat out the majority of the season and likely walked away in F/A. I didnt think the Vikings would actually get a 1st for him especially with his drama since last season.
True, we only have Stephen Burton, Jarius Wright, Greg Childs on our roster as of today and Childs will likely never play again.
Im warming up to it as there was no way we were going to pay him, especially being the locker room "headache" that he is. He is a stud WR but mentally insufficient.
We will get a WR or 2 out of F/A and draft a couple. But as of now, we have the NFL's absolute worst WR core, along with a barely capable QB.

Mike Wallace? Im not banking on them getting Wallace, but i wouldnt be suprised if they paid him with the money Harvin was "going" to get paid with the Vikings. Greg Jennings will likely be the main target for the Vikings |

I think Jennings makes sense for the team up North. The best receiver they have right now is TE Kyle Rudolph.
I'm excited for the start of free agency today. Maybe the Bears get themselves some linemen.

I can't believe the Pats did not resign Welker! The Broncos are going to be really tough to defend even more now. The guy who has Manning in this league has got to be very happy!
