barring farve not getting his outright release, cause i feel the packers wont do this cause they know he will sign with the vikes. Who do you see being the week 17 qb for the vikes. TJ or JDB?

i was staying out of this cause i got one, but now your just trying to increase the value of a qb who cant throw a ball, he is the nfl verison of Pat white(and im a wvu fan)

I think Favre is not getting his release because he would sign with the Bears . . . not the Vikings . . . the Vikings are in a similar situation to the Packers . . . a quality, young team with two young quarterbacks, one just drafted, but highly talented and one who will get another year (maybe two) to make it or break down. Why would the Vikings bring him in when they have the same situation that the Packers have AND are farther from a championship . . . a old 1-2 year QB who refuses to mentor younger players is not needed there.

Booty will be the starter because TJ will be resting for the playoffs, w/ the Vikings having the NFC north locked up, thanks to their running game and defense, not TJ.

That's why I said Brad Johnson . . . mostly . . . I think that when Chris Simms is acquired then Johnson becomes expendable in Dallas and then the Vikings would be much more comfortable with Booty as #3 and the dependable (but yes, old) Johnson behind TJ  |

What about old Gus Frerotte? If week 17 is a meaningless game, they would want to see what their rookie can do in a regular season game after studing and watching for the whole season. Booty would get the call over Frerererotte. |
