Emily has arrived. She was delivered 8/20, and there were no complications w/ either her or my wife. I now have 2 girls, w/ who I need to figure out how to get them involved in football and golf and not turn them lesbian. ;D I have noticed that I had to miss the boat on picking up the Eagles D. Maybe I should have had a laptop w/ me in the delivery room.  |

Congrats on the birth of your daughter! What the hell are you doing having girls? Don't you know how guys are? That being said,I have 3 year old boy and a one year old boy, maybe they can double date. I am glad that everyone is doing well.

Good luck with the girls... glad to hear everyone is doing fine.
For future reference, there is only one sure way to guarantee a boy at conception. Leave one sock on. If you do it with two socks on or no socks on... yer screwed! ;D

Nice Detroit, I have (2) girls also (my youngest also born on 8/20, she just turned 11). Must admit it is very nice when my wife takes both daughters out of the house ALL DAY for me to enjoy the NFL!!!
Again, congrats!!! and no, you cannot have the EAGLES as a "birth" gift ;D

Hey Phish, what's w/ the sock thing? I'm sure my wife would be curious as to why I would interupt the "moment" to put a sock on. I have heard of a lot of different wives' tales, but not that one.

In a lot of ways... my father is pretty whacked out. But one thing he had a knack for was predicting whether pregnant women were having a boy or a girl.
I don't have any stats for ya on the sock thing though. I have no idea where he got that from.

In a lot of ways... my father is pretty whacked out. But one thing he had a knack for was predicting whether pregnant women were having a boy or a girl. I don't have any stats for ya on the sock thing though. I have no idea where he got that from. Which foot??? I've got three boys. We really wanted a girl this last time. I don't wear socks in bed ever though. Maybe my wife was wearing socks.  |
