ESPN Update of Rosters

hey guys ive noticed not a lot of people are updating their rosters. their either picking guys up there and not mentioning it here or trades are happening here and they dont go thru on ESPN. for example, i see Crush just picked up Pennington, when hes supposed to be on the Dragons team i believe after his trade a few days ago. and I belive Mestifo is still waiting to pick up HOU's defense.

i think we need to do a better job of fixing our actual rosters on ESPN as soon as moves are made here....with that said, im sure mestifo will sort things out now.

The site needs to be adjusted to be able to make moves intantaneously, to match the Proboards site. The problem I saw was that the ESPN site seems to have limitations?? Hoping Brad can figure out how to get around that??

I'm beginning to think that trades and adds/drops should be done on ESPN first and then posted here for record keeping.

By the time you post a FA move, someone else could be doing the same and snag the guy. At least if you action the transaction on ESPN first, it's done.

But I agree, people need to clearly reflect the transaction here.

And creating the topic of " Redi drop " isn't clear enough. The team and player should be reflected in the topic.

The message board is the official board of record . . . things posted here all have a time stamp (even edits of posts have a time stamp) so we will go by those . . . I went on an anniversary trip this weekend (my girlfriend and I have been dating a year) so i am a little behind BUT . . . rest assured that league management will fix all rosters on ESPN to reflect actual moves posted here on the boards . . . and that any FA pickup during free for all time will be taken by first posted HERE . . . not by first picked up on ESPN . . . odds are that this site is more accessible from most work locations than ESPN anyways.

As for the team defense thing with the Eagles and Texans . . . that would have been corrected as I can bypass waivers for adds as LM . . . but there is nowhere to add defensive teams besides the FA add screen . . . the edit rosters LM screen only has offensive players on it . . . I will be writing to ESPN about that one . . . should have everything updated by tomorrow evening . . . sorry for the delays!!

Which brings up another point. If this board is the official transaction record, how will that work during the waivers process? Waiver claims can only be processed through the ESPN site.

Waiver claims will be processed through the ESPN site . . . I was more talking about during the Free-For-All times between draft and the season which is the time we are in now . . . sorry for the confusion. Once the season starts then everything should be handled by the ESPN site . . . just be sure and update your rosters here to keep up if you can.

Additionally, once the Force picks up the Philly Defense then all rosters on ESPN match the master sheet kept by me on Excel I can't add him as the LM still . . . which is really weird :/
