so i always hear good stuff about Canadian bud, is it worth going for if your already in CA on a trip?

It depends. With Canadian beer, your success rate is always pretty good. With bud, it can be hit and miss. Just like anywhere else though. It's been a few years since I've had some gool ol' BC hydro.  I've had stuff that sparkled so much, you could see rainbows in the crystals. Like the stuff in High Times mags.. If you're going to Montreal, and the guy you get it from is Italian... chances are it will be pretty good. Ultimately, it really depends on who is finding it for you. Having said that, I've been on a few road trips in the states... and it's been 50/50. And this is at Phish/hippie concerts. Some has been good, some has been decent/do the trick kind of stuff and a few times it's been terrible. The problem is: when you don't know the person you're talking to, and have no idea where the "dank bud" really comes from... you're rolling the dice on being successful. |
