I vote to let the trade stand. I don't think we have a right to question rationale. I think we do have a right to question when someone is obviously getting swindled/cheating and I don't think that's happening in this case. I don't see one team having a much better position after this trade than it did before. Everything else comes down to a matter of personal preference and I don't think it's our job to veto based on whether we like it or not.

I don't understand the trade either. I am not vetoing it right now, I just don't see the logic in it. Why does any team need to have 9 draft picks? Are you going to drop 9 players from your team? Please enlighten me if you can Dragons. The picks thing is a poor arguement. Hellfire owns like 50 picks. ;D

Believe it or not, I can understand everyone's point of view. From the Bulls perspective, I can understand why he would want to acquire a starting WR like Hines Ward. From Swampy's perspective, I can understand why he would want to acquire as many picks as possible at this point in the season. And I can also understand why some people would shake their heads after seeing this trade. Since this is my first experience in a dynasty league, I don't have much to draw from. But my understanding of how these leagues play out is this: some trades make perfect sense and some trades might not. Ultimately, I don't think their is collusion involved here. And everyone has their own values on players and their current roster in general. I can't say I would have made this kind of deal, but, who am I to say. On the one side, 3 draft picks seems like a lot for one player who has seen his best days already. On the other, a bunch of 4th round picks might not mean very much. It all depends on how those picks are used and how those "speculative" choices turn out. And I think we all know that every rookie has bust potential. I don't think I can vote to veto this trade though. And if I'm guilty of being harsh with trade responses, take it with a grain of salt. I've definitely made at least one bad decision so far.

OK that makes it 5-3 in favor of the trade, with Crush, and the Wild Cats left......
For future reference what happens if it ends in a split decision?

League management has the final decision. With 48 hours having passed and only 3 veto votes (30% of the possible 10 votes) and 5 coming out as having no problem I will throw it back to the original traders . . . Bulls and Swamp Dragons . . . if both of you post again here that this trade is accepted it will be official . . . if either of you wants to back out here is your chance. After both acceptance postings the trade will be official or it will be cancelled if either side wants it to be.
