I'll bring this discussion up with Chris tomorrow and we will have a decision on FA before Monday Night Kickoff that will be posted here.
I eliminated the trade deadline when it was approaching while we discussed it . . . it is agreed that the trade deadline will be the Sunday kickoff of games in week 13 which is the last week of the regular season.

ESPN forces you to make the deadline on a Wednesday . . . but ours will be Sunday 11/30 at first kickoff . . . any deals posted and agreed to on the message board before then will be considered by league management for approval.

3 votes yes, 1 vote no, for the waiver priority deal. So what about the trade deadline. If it does change, is it effective next season, or this week? Add me to the "no" vote. And D-tow...I can assure you that any WW pickups I make will be for the betterment of my team; not to jack with any other team in this league. I have seen exactly what your talking about in my money league several years ago. Someone dropped Tampa Def when they were the best and defenses in our league scored like an RB2. The commish ruled that nobody could pick them up. But, I digress, I don't think that will happen here.

I understand why the Elite teams want to be able to sign FA's during their Playoff runs, but to exclude the shitty teams? I don't believe thats completely fair.....As a shitty team I vote NO
I don't think FA will even be an issue....we have a 30 man rosters.

30 man roster and you want to go first with the obvious better team...that's just wrong. I agree with the generals. Leave the order worst to first.

WHA WHA WHA!
Not sure why everyone is getting so worked up over this? All Brad is suggesting is no more trades after the playoffs begin (11-30), and with respect to FA pickups, the order is based on the teams in the playoffs get to pick ahead of the losers that didn't make it in for a change. I cannot understand a scenario where that should matter to a team that didn't make it in? I cannot see any scenario at this point in the season where the next "RYAN GRANT" will be discovered, at this point you should know who is who out there, if you are on the "EDGE" of the fence with someone, then by all means get him before the 30th.....
I assume the order of those making it in goes worst to best, just as the priority for those not making it in is worst to best?

well, with Generals, Phish, Dragons, Outlaws and Bulls on board . . . and myself agreeing with them that gives us 6 votes for things to stay the same as the regular season during the playoffs. The best that changing can do is tie the vote and in a tie vote the incumbent system (leaving it the same) wins anyways . . . so without further ado . . . the waiver/FA system during the playoffs will be exactly the same as it is during the regular season. Thank you all for all of your input . . . this was really the only fair way to do it.

To be completely honest... I truly think this will be much ado about nothing. If for only these reasons:
1-The odds of someone with big time dynasty league relevance popping up in the next month are EXTREMELY slim.
2-The odds of a team who is out even making any major moves on the wire at this point are pretty slim
3-I don't think integrity issues will come up here. Even though I've never met any of you, I really can't see the whole "sabotage" thing being an issue. We've got a pretty good crew here.
I just don't think that teams who have suffered enough bad luck and misfortune this year should be disqualified from being able to improve their team... legitimately improving their team. But to gain a better perspective on this last comment - refer to the #1 reason I posted 150 words ago.

Brad, please confirm trading can resume as soon as the playoffs conclude, so essentially at the conclusion of Week # 16's Monday night game.

Above statement confirmed . . . FA adds will be locked at that time, but drops and trades will be opened back up. I also apologize for not updating the Official Rules Forum . . . once we get this tiebreaker issue resolved I will do a complete rules update . . . been kinda busy over here lately . . . KJNL Dynasty Baseball is starting to kick up a little dust.
