I'm 7-5 in my 10-team money keeper league and need some input from you fellas. My normal starting lineup is as follows:
Brees, AP, (Michael Turner/Chris Johnson; I always pick wrong), AJ, Wayne, S. Holmes, Winslow, Gostkowski, and Tampa.
I need a win bad and have the following dilemmas:
RB: AP at home against Da Bears or Turner against the Chargers in SD or Chris Johnson against the Lions? Pick two; scoring is comparable to this league. I made a rule last year after sitting AP against the Chargers--if he's playing, then he's starting for me, but help me out. I'm leaning towards AP and Turner, but how do I sit Chris Johnson against the Lions?
WR: Pick 1. S. Holmes at New England or L. Moore at Tampa? Donnie Avery is my other choice but he can go fuck himself. He's a good for nothing little weasle-dick thanks to Bulger. I think I go Holmes at NE. Help me.
TE: Winslow (at home against the Colts) or Sheffler (at NYJ)
Def: Yards and points count against you. Tampa hosting NO or Miami at St Louis. Seems to be a no-brainer with the Dolphins. Please confirm.
Thanks all.
I should have 9 or 10 wins but have scored and given up the most points!

Since I need you to lose, I'll refrain from giving you any suggestions, such as: "Brady Quinn really needs a pick me up after getting the hook last week, how about he plays this week instaead of Drew Brees".... ;D

I don't think you can bench Chris Johnson against the Lions. I think the Titans come out with something to prove.
The Chargers D is playing better and they tend to play well at home anyway. Bench Turner.
I'd stay with the hot hand named Lance Moore.
The TE position is kinda gross. Flip a coin.
Miami for your D.

The only thing I question you on is putting all of my eggs in one basket with Brees and Moore. Please confirm sitting Holmes vs NE and starting the Brees to Moore combination. Thanks.

Turner just torched a very strong D in the Panthers, and is now the best RB in FF (non-PPR). He can no longer be benched. Start him and AD.
Moore is facing what is now the top passing D in the NFL. However, I believe GB held that honor, until the MNF game. Start him as a primary WR to the best FF QB over Holmes, who hasn't done shit this year, mainly because of Ben sucking.
Even though Winslow has struggled, especially w/ DA passing, he is still much more involved in his offense than Scheffler is w/ his. Start Winslow, and hope for a TD.
As far as your D, I would start the Lions D against the pathetic Rams w/o SJ. If SJ does return for this game, Miami is still a better option than Tampa against the efficient Saints.
Good Luck.

Thanks! One thing to point out is that Turner has scored 12 of his 13 TD's at home. They play in SD this weekend. Does that change your mind?

I would have to disagree, Chris Johnson will absolutely be a top 5 RB in scoring this week!!

I would have to disagree, Chris Johnson will absolutely be a top 5 RB in scoring this week!! This is my point. You can't bench Chris Johnson against the Lions in favour of Turner. Turner has been boom or bust this year. Boom at home, bust on the road. One week HUGE... next week average at best. And when you look at the teams that Turner/Atlanta scored well on... you have your answer. Like I said, SD has been playing better defense ever since they got Cooper back. And they always play well at home, especially against teams travelling across the country.

On the road against the Bucs, Panthers and Eagles... less than 60 yds, less than 3 yds/carry. Home against da Bearsss, same thing.
At home against the Lions, Chiefs, Broncos - monster games. And his 4 TD game was a little bit odd... with 3 TD's in the 4th quarter. Definitely not something to count on.
Good luck
SD will be up for this game, Turner makes his return to Qualcomm.

Johnson was a stud, but Turner should still have over 100 yds.
