AFC Playoffs - 1) TD Machine; 2) Wildcats; 3) Force
NFC Playoffs - 1) Undertow; 2) Renegades; 3) Crush
Explanation as required by league rules:
AFC - All three playoff teams were tied with 8-5 overall records. In the three way head-to-head the following records were used: TD Machine (3-1); Wildcats (2-2); Force (1-3) . . . this tie-breaker was used for playoff seeding.
NFC - Undertow and Renegades advance based on overall record. Three teams were tied for the last playoff spots with 5-8 overall records. Head-to-head records did not break the tie as all teams were 2-2 in the three-way head-to-head. Division records are as follows: Crush (4-6); Hellfire (3-7); Dragons (3-7) . . . Crush advance on strength of division record.
TD Machine and Undertow receive first round byes.
Week 14 playoff matchups are Crush at Renegades and Force at Wildcats.
This post is official . . . . draft post to come soon.

Unofficial Draft Order: 1) Outlaws 2) Swamp Dragons 3) Bulls 4) Hellfire 5) Crush 6) Redeye Jedi 7) Generals 8) Renegades 9) Force 10) Wildcats 11) TD Machine 12) Undertow
***This order is unofficial because the USFL runner up will move to spot 11 and the USFL champion will move to spot 12 with the other sliding down to fill the gaps***
Explanation in accordance with USFL rules:
1) Outlaws and Swamp Dragons are tied at 4-9 . . . both have 0-0 head-to-head and 4-6 division records . . . thus Outlaws has fewer overall points and goes into the top spot.
2) Jedi, Crush, Hellfire and Bulls are tied at 5-8 . . . 4-way head-to-head records: Jedi (1-0), Hellfire (2-2), Crush (2-2), Bulls (2-3) . . . thus Bulls get 3rd pick and Jedi get 6th. Hellfire/Crush goes to division record and as in the playoff race the Hellfire are behind getting the 4th pick and the Crush get 5th.
3) TD Machine, Wildcats, Force and Renegades are tied at 8-5 . . . 4-way head to head records are as follows: TD Machine (4-1); Wildcats (3-2); Force (1-3); Renegades (0-2) . . . this order determines the draft slots with Renegades getting #8 and TD Machine getting #11

While I finished on a roll, my team is average at best and in need of a real franchise QB. Let me know if anyone has a spare solid/stud QB around and is willing to trade (after the playoffs of course).

I don't mind that you traded your 1st round pick. Thanks. If I kept mine I would have the first 2 picks. Mestifo, any chance getting my #1 pick back because I'm such a nice guy?

I have 6 picks in the top 15 . . . I'll be looking to upgrade them via 2 for 1 draft pick trades with the other 7 or so picks I have in the later rounds . . . look for me to be wheeling and dealing just before the draft.

For the record, I'd like to add my thoughts on the tie breaker rules... for next years draft order.
I'd really like to see total points scored be the first tie breaker. I have no idea what impact it would have had for this year because I haven't even looked.
But for the draft order to be decided on H2H and divisional record when we don't play in the same divisions and therefore don't play each other the same amount of times... I just don't think it's the most effective way to go about it.
To be honest, I didn't put much thought into the rules at the beginning of the year for two reasons:
1 - I was the new guy ( I suppose I still am ) and most of the rules were already in place
2 - I just didn't put any time to think that far ahead
I understand the rules as they are. And they do mirror what happens in the NFL. But in my opinion, every NFL rule doesn't translate to fantasy football.
I guess I'm just used to total points being the tie breaker. I believe the WCOFF uses total points as well.
Just a thought. I'm really not looking to shake things up here because it's been a fun year with a good crew. But I think there is a flaw in the current format which could lead to a good team not making the playoffs next year due to a fluke week or an unfortunate schedule. And since this has an affect on the draft order as well... it could mess with the same team twice.
Nobody wants to be the guy who is the top scorer overall, and maybe top 3 on a consistent basis from week to week who just happens to play the team who had everyone go ape $hit a few times and end up with a losing record. Or worse, losing a tie breaker and missing the playoffs all because of a one week matchup a month into the season.

However, since we play all but 3 games w/in our divisions, division record certainly comes into play when determining tiebreakers for the division standings.
