In my 12 team ppr league I have 2 question as far as who to start this week. For my rb's I have Westbrook,Portis(vs Cincy) and AP(at Az). I am positive that I am going to start Westbrook but who is my other starter? Also at TE do I start Witten at home vs the Giants or Dallas Clark at home vs Det?

AP (I never sit him) even though Arizona has an above average run defense. Who knows what Portis will do after his little spat with Zorn and the fact that he's been knicked up? I also don't see how you can sit Witten. Dallas Clark has underachieved this year and been very inconsistent/fragile.

If you can only start 2 RBs, that is a real tough choice. All 3 have very nice matchups. All 3 are must-starts. You are already set on starting Westy, but he is, as usual, listed as questionable on the injury report. Unfortunately, he plays on Mon, so you would have to start Portis and AD if you are worried about that. If you have to decide between Portis and AD, I feel that Portis is going to have a monster game, because he is more fresh than normal after being "benched" last week, and he is pissed. AD usually takes until the second half of his games to get hot and by then, ARI may have run up the score too much. Both of those guys should have big games, but I think Portis will get a few more pts.
As far as the TEs, you really can't bench Witten. Unlike Clark, he is almost guaranteed to get 5 or more receptions every game, when he is healthy. Clark could take advantage of his matchup, but Witten is more reliable on a weekly basis.
Good Luck man.

I think Westy has been questionable the entire season. Every report that I have read said that he is going to play and start as normal. I agree with the fact that Portis should be pissed and have a good game. The only thing that scares me is that his O-line is banged up. I do have Witten in my starting lineup right now. Clark has been up and down all year but has a good matchup. Its almost a bad thing having this much depth right now. I am afraid whatever I do will be the wrong move. Thanks for the input so far guys, hopefully I will get some more from everyone!

It really won't hurt you to start AD over Portis. The beautiful thing about having that kind of depth to choose from is if you have even the slightest uncertainty about 1 player (i.e. weather, matchup, banged up O-line, etc.) you can bench him in favor of your other choice and not second guess it.
Kind of like it is easy for me to bench Pierre in this game against you, and have either of Gore or Ward to plug in on Sunday.

Undertow is kind of like Pete Carroll, instaed of giving away his time outs, he left Thomas on the bench.....

Believe it or not, I think I might go with Portis instead of AP. Tough call to make, but you have to start Westbrook for sure in a PPR league. And the Redskins need a win to stay alive, and something tells me that Portis will be looking to make a statement. And Zorn will be happy to let him run.
Having said that, AP fumbled 3 times last week and could also be focused on putting together a big game. VERY tough call, but part of me think Portis has a better day against Cincy.
And you have to start Witten in a PPR league. Dallas Clark might score, but Witten could easily put up a huge game.
Good luck.
