I'll start by saying this has nothing to do with you, James.
I am really upset now. You bitched about Sean (Bulls) starting line-ups all season and kick him out because you felt he wasn't doing enough. Now Crush starts Benson who we all knew was not starting this week and leaves Pierre Thomas on the bench. That would have given him enough points to beat James and solidify my spot in the playoffs. I never see Crush on here or contributing.
Sorry, but I see it as Bullshit!

I wasn't too happy to see that either. I hate it when people don't address their lineups, no matter how it would've effected the outcome of a game against me. I want to win, but I want to win fairly.
At any rate, that game was meaningless, and it would not have solidified your playoff spot, Peter. We play each other this last week, and if I win, I have the tiebreaker over you, from winning both of our matchups. It wouldn't matter if I am one game down or if our records are tied going into this game. In either case, whichever one of us wins is in and the loser will be out, as long as Renegades beat M357 (he has tiebreaker over both of us with points). We could both get in the playoffs, but Renegades would have to lose to M357, which would require a minor miracle.

I know I should have said "it could have helped solidify" or "it might have helped" but that's not really the point.
The outcome of a game has been decided by someone not keeping up their team. I became friends with Sean this past year. He is a good guy who decided to go young because he couldn't compete with the team he had. You guys slammed him. Wrathman even said some teams would be like this in a dynasty league. I remember the Generals commenting on how Crush wasn't getting back to him last season and it seems like the same again. I find that it sucks that people go after one guy and the other guy gets a free pass. Just think it just stinks.
I know I wasn't supposed to make the playoffs this year, but it is a glimmer of hope that James and Chris have been sucking it and letting me have hope. ;D

The problem with Sean was that his lineup was messed up the first game of the year. That made a lot of people pay closer attention to Sean. I also became friends with Sean. I have no idea if this was a one time thing for the Crush or not. Let's not start calling out teams if this is something that has only happened once. Also,my team has not been sucking,I just have had some bad luck!!!

I also had noticed this on his roster saturday night, but thought he would likely change it by sunday, however saying the outcome doesnt matter is wrong, it does have many implications, as far as seeding and draft pick seeding, not to mention he was likely at 100% vs other owners. It could be a slight error on his part, but it does need to be watched.
As far as Seans team not being competative and why he did what he did, i disagree also, when you have the players he did (AP, R.Rice, Brady Fitz) just to name a few...you are always in contention, heck just having AP and Rice makes you a competitor.
Each person has the right to do with their team as they please, however there is absolutely no reason at all for this (my) team to be where it is now. If he was going to go younger completely, he would have snagged key players from F/A and dropped the 35 yr olds that were on his roster, thats what i believe set Sean above anyone else in terms of not taking care of his team, not to mention the lineups. In my money league it costs $3 for every F/A transaction, and theres a couple bad teams that still spend the money just to keep their team in the direction they need to go, but in a free lg to neglect a teams growth by not being active in all phases of FF to me is good enough to terminate.
Rant over...next?

I'll keep this short.
Peter, I wouldn't worry too much about Crush's lineup last week. Your playoff hopes were gonna be decided this week anyway.
As for Sean, there were several reasons why action had to be taken. The lineup decisions being the most important one. If someone doesn't check in to this site for a couple of days... shit happens. I don't log in every day anyway. Sometimes I peek at the boards, but I still don't log in. That stuff doesn't impact the entire league though.
But between the lineup decisions, the trades and the lack of FA activity.. those were all signs that he wasn't into it anymore. And I don't think there's any point in all of us spending the amount of time that we do if one person isn't into it.

It wasn't like Sean messed up once,it was several times. Peter,do you know if Sean knows that he has been replaced?
Everyone looks at trades differently. You may think it is a bad trade, but if both owners like the deal, that's all that really matters! (as long as we don't think one team is dumping players to another)
Hopefully this was an isolated incident with the Crush. Hopefully Bill and Neil have said something to him about this.

The last thing I read was in the morning on the 29th. It said! Though NFL.com is reporting that Benson (hip) is expected to play Sunday, the Bengals will test him out in pregame warmups, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. My intent was to get back and check one more time and I'm sorry to say it didn't happen. Just so you guys know I'm not trying to improve my draft position I really don't like to lose. I'm just as mad as you are that I didn't take down Detroit. I'm trying to add a co-owner from one of my other leagues to help me stay on top of the team. Please except my apologies and this will not happen again. Crush

Not that big of a deal Crush. It's not like Benson had an ACL tear... everyone is questionable at some point in the week nowadays.

Hey Chuck . . . sorry for the delay. Shoot me a PM with the info for the co-owner and I will have him available on ESPN by Saturday morning if he accepts. He can become a member of these boards at any time I think.
