Holmes is going to be suspended four games for failing a piss test to start the season of 2010.
If the assualt case goes anywhere there is no guarantee he plays this year IMO

well it takes a bit of a hit cause Sanchez is not the level of QB that Big Ben is. Holmes is a free agent after the season,so I think that may be part of the reason why the Steelers only got a 5th round pick. Why doesn't Big Ben get a suspension from the league?

Why doesn't Big Ben get a suspension from the league? i think he has too, if he doesnt then why the hell did pacman get suspended for a year. I know people will tell me he was arrested 7 times but he was never convicted of a crime either. So i think ben needs to get sit down for 2-3 games |

Pretty certain Big Ben will also be handed a suspension. With respect to Holmes' value, Big Ben was the perfect fit for Holmes talents. Sanchez is more the West Coast type QB, not the home run throwing (Roethlisberger, McNabb) type. Holmes was never the PPR type guy, Hines Ward was. Don't get me wrong Holmes will do just fine as a Jet (once he gets his stoned ass on the field  ), just not as well stat wise as he did in Pitt....In fact I agree with Outlaws that this probably spells the end of Edwards as a long term solution in NY.... |

Why doesn't Big Ben get a suspension from the league? Ben won't get suspended because he wasn't actually arrested. Santonio Holmes bought his ticket out of Pittsburgh with his "tweets". He's an idiot if he actually tweeted anything "waking and baking". And he's an idiot for tweeting about the woman who accused him of assault. They weren't gonna pay him big time money anyway, so they got something for nothing since he'll end up missing a good chunk of the season. |

Still convinced someone would have paid a higher price, perhaps a 4th rounder (Conditional to a 2nd if he re-signs an extenstion, hell at least to a 3rd??)
