This is what the divisions would look like based on last years points. This is based on the formula that Brad and Bill came up with.
Division A: 1.Fog City 6.Undertow 7.Outlaws 12.M357's Division B: 2.Irish 5.Wildcats 8.Phish 11.Generals Division C: 3.Pimps 4.Hellfire 9.Dragons 10.Crush
All 3 divisions equal 26. I think that this is a fair way to set up the divisions. I like the idea of keeping the divisions the same for awhile. Does this set up work for everyone?

Its fair, but there are other combinations that add up to 26 for each division.
Brad's snake draft is fair, but selfishly looking at it from my standpoint, it pits the best and worst team in one division with two mediocre teams. However, each divsion is balanced by total talent is it sums to 26.
Just another set of seeds that works out and may better balance the divisions is as follows:
2+6+8+10 = 26 1+5+9+11 = 26 3+4+7+12 = 26
The bottom line is that no matter what there will be some inequity. I'm only throwing another option out there.
Lastly, I'm just fine with what Chris posted and Bill concurred with.

if #6 wasn't the Undertow in the top set of divisions then yeah, I might cry foul . . . but james' team is really strong for one that finished 6th in points last year. In fact I might say that the way they were divided up by Chris above the #1 seed got the toughest division. I like it the way we have it at the top and I think we are down to picking nits now.

sorry...I missed that!
Now we need to come up with division names. Let's not be vulgar or anything like that. Also lets not to the whole East,West and so on.

sorry...I missed that! Now we need to come up with division names. Let's not be vulgar or anything like that. Also lets not to the whole East,West and so on. I'm fine with the divisions outlined above. Total points makes more sense than anything. I'm gonna have a rivalry with Gregg no matter what division he's in so who cares. =P As for the division names, how about: K-Gun Beastmode Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuce Totally kidding. We could go with player names or we could go with the historic route. Famous coaches, famous busts. I think the Ki-Jana Carter, Akili Smith and Jamarcus Russell divisions has a nice ring to it. Or what about the AFL, NFL, CFL! LOL
