with the Bills taking Spiller does Lynch get dealt tomorrow, if not do they just flat out release him? Not sure I understand them taking him. I also don't understand Tebow going ahead of Clausen or McCoy.

Someone like Pike, Skelton or even Kafka.... There as much a project as Nate Davis who already has learned the system. Alex Smith obviously isn't a top 15 qb, but now your just wanting someone different and don't care if its better or not lol.

It was a slow day at work tonight, so I packed my MP3 with an FM tuner and listened to draft updates for about the first 13 picks before I got annoyed with the stupid little earphone falling out of my ear every 2 minutes. The bar in my restaurant had the draft on the TVs, so needless to say I made many trips out there all night. A few thoughts... The Jacksonville pick was stupid. They could've traded back at least 10 picks and still draft Alualu. How is Spiller going to run without an O-line or a passing threat? Bad move by the Bills. They are going to be awful enough this year that they could draft Mark Ingram next year. As a Lions fan, I feel sorry for Bills fans. ;D If the Rams don't draft Charles Brown with their first pick of the second round, the Bills better trade up for him. He won't last longer than 3 or 4 picks. Not feeling very good about having traded away Frank Gore. The 49ers should have one of the top O-lines in the NFL now. We just have to see if Gore's reconstructed knees end his career early like I predict. Didn't expect Kareem Jackson and Devin McCourty to get picked before Kyle Wilson, and I didn't expect the Jets to pick a CB. That was certainly a BPA move, and that Jets secondary will give Brady and Henne fits for many years. The Chargers just traded away their first and second round picks to get Matthews at 12. With Spiller getting picked by the Bills, they must have thought the Seahawks were eyeballing him. Good luck getting that starting NT your team needs. McDaniels and whoever the hell the Broncos GM is should be fired right now. They started off playing it right by targeting a WR and smartly trading back to still have the first shot at a WR, then passed up Dez Bryant. I know Thomas is really good, but Bryant is a better athlete and route runner. Then they trade up to draft a QB project in the first round...when they had many more pressing needs, AND Clausen and McCoy were still on the board. When will Tebow be their starter??? Answer: if at all, under a new head coach. Morons!!! And finally, my perennial rebuilding Lions. WE GOT SUH BABY!!! I would like to thank the organization for the lack of Matt Millen. We didn't need Dez Bryant. However, why did they trade up to pick Best when Best would've certainly been available at pick 34? The Vikings, Colts, Saints, and Rams had no need to draft Best. Either they got too excited in the trading frenzy and jumped the gun, or they had inside info that another team was going to trade ahead of them at 34 to pick Best. Either way, I like the pick. Now if our O-line can be beefed up so Best can actually succeed....

My ? is does Dez Bryant going to the cowboys hurt his fantasy status? All those weapons and only 1 football to go around. It may not affect Austins or Wittens status this year, but down the line it could. what s your guys thoughts

Now if our O-line can be beefed up so Best can actually succeed.... Agree with those thoughts. I thought the J-Ville pick was a bad pick because they could've had Aluala probably in the 2nd, cut certainly later in the first...but then Denver trading back into the 1st to grab Tebow was by far the worst pick. I don't get the infatuation with Tebow...yes he's a leader, nice guy, great character and a "winner" in college, but he didn't read defenses well (missed finding the open guy often), is not very accurate and his throwing mechanics suck. Not only was that a complete reach, but it was and will be a bad, bad, awful pick by Denver. What a bunch of dumbfucks. I like the thought on Spiller too....they should've taken A. Davis or Dan Williams....though I've read many reports that they feel K. Williams can play the nose. Davis was their pick and they "needed" a playmaker so they took Spiller. I also think JP Paul will bust...dumb as a board that guy is. I also think the Chargers fucked up by trading their draft away for Matthews....they needed a nose, CB, O-line help and an RB. IMO Matthews is not that great to justify the trade. Teams having the best so far are the Seahawks, 49ers, Dolphins, Cowboys and Pats. The Jets, Vikes and Colts made solid picks and moves too to close up shop for the evening.

ding ding ding... winner winner chicken dinner what's it going to cost them? I'm hoping Pete Carroll will give his 2nd and 3rd round picks for him. But I doubt it. I'm slowly accepting the fact that the Bills will take a 4th.. or even a 5th or 6th.

Davis was their pick and they "needed" a playmaker so they took Spiller. I think the Bills are sticking to their draft board. Which is a good sign for their future. Sounds like many teams had Bulaga and Davis not being worth a top 10 pick, same with Dan Williams. I'm kinda glad that they didn't just draft Clausen since nobody else was jumping up to get him. I like what I'm hearing from Buffalo right now. Just heard that they weren't going after Tebow afterall. And I've heard that they feel Kyle Williams could play NT for awhile, like Ratliff does in Dallas. He's not a two gap player, but he's got a great motor.

The insider on the NFL Network said the Bills were "crushed" when Denver took Tebow. That the Bills were trying to trade back into the end of round 1 to take him.
Filed to ESPN: Bills and Browns have contacted the Rams about trading for the No. 33 pick. Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy in play.
The Cowboys gave Dez #88!
