I am ready to make both picks 1.06 & 1.07. When Undertow picks I will make mine so hopefully James can make pick 1.08 before he goes to work. Or he can always pre-draft with Brad since I have pick 1.09.

I sent James a PM that I was going to pick right after he made his picks,which I did. He did read the PM and hopefully, for his sake he pre-drafted with Brad. At 9:24 I may be drafting if James has not. ;D

wait chris is usually on, give him a minute or send him a PM with your pick because he picks next, your trade prob wont be vetoed none here are for good reasons, but just in case wait

I am surprised that I haven't been ripped for taking Clausen over Bradford! My thoughts are I am not convinced that Bradford can stay healthy in his career. Both of the hits Bradford got hurt on were not anything out of the norm. Yes Bradford will probably start right away,but having Brady and hopefully Favre,I won't need Clausen for a year or two. With all of that being said,I would have taken Bradford at 1.09 if M357's would not of traded up to get him. Would anyone else have taken Clausen over Bradford?
By the way,M357's is the winner of the draft this year. Most people(obviiously not me) have Bradford,Mathews and Bryant at the top of there draft board for each position. Good job guys!

Thanks Chris, I was SHOCKED to see Claussen go before Bradford, as when we did the trade (1.02 for 1.06 and 1.07) we basically said goodbye to taking Bradford and were likely happy with taking Claussen at 1.10. There is some worry about Bradford's injury yes, and at the same point there was some worry about Claussen being a true NFL QB on our end as well (remains to be seen) So to us, we were willing to pay the price should Undertow think of taking Bradford, or if he would have been taken 1.09 we didnt want to sit around and find out. Basically moving back 5 spots from 2nd rd to 3rd rd was the price we were willing to pay to lock up Bradford. A few other options were available to us as well, and it remains to be seen if we made the right decision, but we feel comfortable with our team now, and likely would have also if we had Claussen as well, but more so having Bradford. |

Thanks for reminding me. =P You know what... Clausen is still the 2nd best QB prospect from this draft. The fact that you would have drafted Bradford at #9 after already drafting Clausen doesn't make sense to me. You probably could have had both had you taken Bradford first. I like Clausen, but I probably wouldn't have taken him first. Having said that, I'll glady take your 2.01 pick.  |

All ripping aside, it's entirely possible that Clausen beats out Matt Moore in camp. So you might not have to wait that long to see him play. And if that happens, Clausen might be in a better situation.
It's a gamble according to most draft "experts"... but not a huge one. It could pay off.

If I would of taken Bradford at 1.09,I would of put him on the trade block right away. I was surprised that he didn't got earlier. I know that at least Mel Kiper Jr agrees with me...whatever thats worth.

it doesn't mean that somebody else wouldn't of traded up to 1.08. I didn't want to end up gambling and not getting the QB I really wanted. I am fine with how it played out.
