I just posted something similar to this on our KJNL baseball site . . . sorry for the second read for some of you.
Things are coming right along . . . fridge delivered tomorrow, high speed internet on Wednesday, my DirecTV won't be installed until next week at the new house, so I will have to stick to the apartment for a bit. Once it is in though my place will be a sports crazy setup . . . 63" HD flat screen, DirecTV with HD receiver and DVR, surround sound, echoing acoustics in the main room and a permanent open area to the fridge!! I only care about the Astros for baseball watching so I will not get the MLB package, but NFL Sunday Ticket Superfan is making my palm itch I wanna order it so bad. Anybody stopping by Texas for some baseball or football watching? :-)

The Shiner Bock will be ice cold and the pizza and wings will be on order . . . holler when you get to Houston, I'll direct you in and you'll have about 2 hours to go.

You get to watch the most important parts of every single NFL game without changing the channel. I'm not sure if it is offered on DirectTV though.

The sad thing is in a few years the Backyadigans and Dora will be playing on that TV with the surround sound. ;D ;D ;D

Congrats Brad! A little overdue, and my comment in the draft thread might have been pushing it a little... but it sounds like you're putting together a sweet setup. But alas, it's far too risky for me to mount a 63" plasma inside my igloo. =P

We are really into Phineas & Ferb at my house. We do sometimes watch Handy Manny, but until I see some form of ID from Manny,we may stop watching it.

my kids are just advanced for their age . My oldest will be 5 in Sept while my youngest turned 3 in March. They don't get much tv during the day but we do also watch some Blue's Clues and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

It's great, my kids moved on and now my kids watch super hero squad, avatar the last air bender, and most older Disney shows. It makes sitting with them better.
