If the rules are indeed so confined on trading draft picks, it is simply something I nor Swamp didn't realize. If we are not allowed to trade 2010 picks, then I will immediately propose the rule to be modified for next season, if not this one. There are ways to make this trade happen, and it will happen, now matter what the rules are. Myself and Swamp will simply be a bit more busier during draft day.

and this is what the rules are in place for to avoid people trying to change them as they go along. Please brotha dont try to say you didnt realize it you posted half the statement from the rules that were in your favor and not the other half that made you look wrong :-D.

Agree with FCF since we were having that discussion this morning. I don't think you need to wait until the 2009 draft concludes. People may want use 2010 picks to move up in the 2009 draft.
Now we just have to let LM determine the direction that we go.

if we have a draft in may, then people dissappear i dunno like crush maybe and he trades future picks and doesnt make it to the start of the season the guy that takes his team is in an unfair postion. Just using examples i belive 2010 trades should be able to be traded once preseason starts. People who pay attetion to the rules are being screwed so someone can benfiet either way i am protesting

Relax Gregg, I know I didn't know about it and D-town read it a different way. If the commishes come back and say no then it is no. No need to get your panties in a twist.
People get on me about trading my 1st round pick in my keeper league, but I have won twice and didn't have a #1 pick in either of those years. People get on me about stupid trades but it will all work out in the end. And I will win the championship.

Please brotha dont try to say you didnt realize it you posted half the statement from the rules that were in your favor and not the other half that made you look wrong :-D. I looked at the rules, only after you decided to pollute this trade string w/ a ton of arguments. I saw what was written and argued my side, like any good lawyer would. I don't see why trading 2010 picks is so bad, but if the Commissioners clarify the somewhat vague rules involving trading future picks we will all be happy. And I don't cheat dude. Never have, never will. I work w/in the rules as everyone must, and if the 2010 pick trade gets denied, then it gets denied for now. The trade will still happen before, during, and/or after the 2009 draft, and it will happen w/in the rules.
