I think it should shuffle each year..... That's how we do it in my money league, and it works well. In the reshuffle process the division winners don't matter because a wildcard team or even a non playoff team may have a better record than a division winner. Divisions should be assorted by points (or record), with the 2 SB contestants being considered the top 2 seeds to make sure they end up in opposing divisions. I suggested shuffling the divisions every 2 years because the LM seemed pretty set on keeping the divisions set in stone. I figured every 3 years would be a good compromise, but doing it every odd or even year is much easier to remember. However, every year is also good, and would be my preference. |
