Its lookin like 3 divisions with 6 playoff teams has got the vote. Having 4 playoff teams would be too little IMO, 6 is just perfect.

The more I thought about it, the more I didn't like only 4 teams getting in the playoffs. That being said, the perfectionist in me voted for 4 divisions with 3 teams each, because it is quite obviously the most mathematically sound format.....and apparently a moot point. 3d/4t/6pt still leaves a team off of everybody's schedule, so why bother changing from what it was??? After the division winners, how will the other 3 playoff teams be determined? If we don't reshuffle the divisions (at least not for a while), then straight up wildcard rules should apply. That would mean a 2nd team from a shitty division would not make the playoffs. That would also mean there is a potential for all 4 teams from 1 division to make the playoffs. This should be the format for static divisions. I am also cool with no reshuffling occuring for no less than 3 years, and only if deemed necessary. Reshuffling doesn't have to be a standard, but if there is a division that is essentially not pulling their weight some time in the future, we should be able to vote for some form of reshuffling process to recreate parity. As far as the team left off of everyone's schedule, should the previous season's final standings hold any bearing, or should it just be a standard rotation that would cause everyone to eventually be left off of every non-division opponent's schedule over an 8 year span (8 non-divisional teams)? Ultimately, I agree fully with Bill that it should not simply be random. i.e. That could cause a certain team to be left off of your schedule twice in 3 years.

The wildcard teams would be the 3 best records regardless of divisions.

it was chicken shit that you would veto it. there was no collusion involved in the deal. what gives you the right to say who should/shouldn't be on someones team. you would of accepted the offer if it was offered to you. still waiting for you to post on the KJNL board why you vetoed it.

not true, if you looked last night I was the first to respond, also 5 other people agreed with me so it was not just me. (Also never suggested there was collusion).....you cannot be serious that you thought the trade was even close to fair, in all seriousness, come on?

you said he must be drunk, you did not give a reason why the trade was unfair. Do I think I got the better of the deal, yes. Have I made tons of trades that I thought I got the better of the deal and it came back to bite me,yes. YOU never answered my question and YOU would of accepted the deal too.

Agreed!!! Bill in answer to your parity and doing it by seeding for year after year. With our current voted format we will skip one team each year from outside our division. you can think of the divisions as East, Central and West and you would set up a rotating 2-year system based on the previous year's finish. Year one . . . top 2 skip to the right and bottom two skip to the left . . . that is East 1 skips Central 4, East 2 skips Central 3, Cent 1 skips West 4, Cent 2 skips West 3, West 1 skips East 4, West 2 skips East 3. Year two . . . skip the other direction . . . East 1 skips West 4 and so on as above, but in the opposite direction. You play everyone every two years no mater what. Last years winners play harder schedules than last years losers and gives everyone a chance to catch up or whatever. With a two year rotation everything is set. Sound good? Is it understandable?
